Could this be the final NTSC version of the cover?

The above image is from gamspot and they tend to be quite accurate on this sort of thing. Personally I don't like the cover at all.

I don't like it either. It's too simple. It needs some more color and images put to it to make it more alive. And the three just doesn't fit in with the rest of the logo...

It's can;t be. It's too horrible to be the cover.

I believe we all know that they release covers all the time. Budokai 2 had numerous covers and it came out with mutli characters on the front. I'm sure Budokai3 will have a similar theme.

I think it looks bad @$$!

This more than likely is the real cover. I saw it in other magizines to. And I like simple things, so I'm perfectly fine with the cover. It's not badass, and it doesn't suck, but it's cool.

They should have featured some of the new characters on the front.

I like it, it's simple but I think it looks good.

Piece of crap. It's crappier than the other attempts.

and I also saw the cover box in stores for reserve at Gamestop, but the cover doesn't bother me at all.

Ditto. I'd buy the game anyway whatever the cover was. Unless it was something real gay. :)

If they had to put one person on the cover, they could have put Vegeta. Or Gogeta. But Goku's too goody-goody for the WHOLE cover. Still want the game though. (OMG Piccolo's arm stretches out OMG thats frikin awesome!)

Metal Gear Solid 3 has a cover at GameStop also but it's not the cover. The cover is WAY different.

I'm pretty sure that's what it'll be. Lemme try to find a better quality image though.

The Piccolo thing with the arm should have been in the last two games...and just about every dbz game. I'm surprised its not implemented more often.

I guess that's why it seems so awesome. They don't do things like that often.
( :droll: I cant wait for it OMG the anticipation is deadly!)

Too bad it took them to the third installment to make the arm thing happen. I wish you could jump too.

SuperFusion

Believe me.. That would suck. Take a look at "DBGT Final Bout" and the jumping would look exactly like that.

Isnt' that cover used in Budokai 2?

That's a poor example. If they scaled down the characters a bit, and smoothened the controls ( the only real freedom is side stepping, plus the battles feel too congested ) then jumping wouldn't suck and you could implement a 2d and 3d fighting feel. Final Bout also lacked comfortability because of the d pad controls and the same clunky battles. Now that there is a new control standard, we should see some improvement. Btw, the cover isn't that of Budokai 2. Budokai 2 had a blue cover and featured Vegetto I believe.

Oh, the cover for Budokai 2 is different. Well, I personally don't like this one either. It looks plain <_<

I actually like this cover. It's less crowded than Budokai 1 and it doesn't try to impress you with overlay PS style stuff like Budokai 2 did.

It doesn't look too bad, but they should have had Vegeta there aswell, I can only hope that the PAL version's cover is better, otherwise I'll make my own for it, even though I never have before.
