View Full Version : DBZ Live Action Rumor
According to a mystery source, Brendan Fraiser has been hired for an "anime" movie, and has been spotted trying subtle entrances going in and out of Fox Studios. It could be some other movie, but everything seems to indicate that he'll be part of the cast of the DBZ live action movie (unless there's another live action anime movie in production). Again, these are RUMORS (UNCONFIRMED STUFF). Don't take it for granted, but the possibility is there.
$50 says it will never be made. Yes, I will paypal you $50.

There are a lot of anime movies in development, so there's no way to say it is DBZ yet.
uh...well that would get quite an audience if he's in there, but 'm not sure.
Other than yu-gi-oh(It's gonna suck probly)..I don't know of any other live action movies based on anime's coming soon

No, Brendan Fraser is a cancer on acting, especially comedy. Only good turn he did was in Scrubs as Cox's best friend, and even then he died.

That's why they thought of Brendan Fraser when they were looking for another Goku becuase when you think about his past films with a comedic value they thought it would match Goku funnier side that they see. But he would be cr*p overall tho

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Astroboy, Akira, Battle Angel Alita, and Transformers are all in one phase of development or another.
Brendon Fraiser isn't a bad actor, in fact he did pretty good in The Mummy and a few other films that he's been in. Its more about the movies he's worked on and they're problems. Although last time I saw him, he didn't have the physical condition to play a convincing Goku.

Darn rumors..... I hope it's true.
And, a live action Yu-Gi-Oh! movie is not happening. There's only the animated verison.

I agree a little with Haroken. Nothing says Fraiser's gonna play Goku. He would definitiely make a funny Yamcha though...or....actually, I'd have to say why the hell would anyone hire him to work on DBZ ( I'm not saying they did )? He just doesn't seem like the type to do an anime movie in the first place.
There is one coming....that comercial they had...with those two real looking monster dudes....was an experiment, that's what the monsters will look like..but like I said...It's gonna suck.
That one dudes hair is gonna look so screwed.
Fraiser is gonna play a good yamcha or maybe a vegeta...since he was pretty skinny in those eps....who knows, they're just rumors

Who wants a guy that fought mummies to be in a Live Action Movie?

I could see him playing Yamcha maybe...but I still don't want him in any DBZ movies. Ever.
Ha! Goku? That guy can't act to save his life. It'd be funnier to see him try.
Even as Yamcha, who is a really unimportant character when it all comes down to it.
I still think Wee Man should be Krillin and Stevo should be Tien.
