It Gets Better

Well, here's my latest video, though I made it a while back. AMV production has been slow for me these past few months, because right now I'm getting into many different animes to help my AMV creation. I was able to get a hold of "Grave of the Fireflies" and I loved it. I got the idea after seeing VegettoEX's "What it is to Burn" and I thought this song would go good with the anime. After watching it, I knew I had to make it.

Here's the link to my video. I call it "It Gets Better" (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=40349), the meaning of the video can be easily understood when you watch it. The quality of the video isn't so good though, I had a problem converting it to mpeg.

You got a bunch of opinions in the actual "It Gets Better" topic. But just to assist the topic. It was good. I really liked it, and thought the song really suited the matter. I was kinda fond of the beginning, and the black-white screen on certain parts of the song was nice.

I already gave my opinion on AMV.org and said it was definitely one of the best I've ever seen. It was just very emotional is all I can say. I just hated when that damn fly came in...

a Pretty good music video. I've always had a soft spot for the emotional/drama type of videos. The timing was really nice, some of the effects used were nicely put and the scene selection was great. The quality was the downfall of the video as you said yourself drew, but that's no problems, you can re-encode the video in xvid perhaps soon.

I would also like to see it in a smaller resolution, I run my desktop at 1280X1024 and the screen size was still quite big, it really takes up a lot of space so I won't be able to watch this video every now and then I'f im doing something else on the pc. Just a suggestion you may want to consider.

Yeah, I'm gonna make a better quality one. First I'm gonna DVD rip 'Grave of the Fireflies' again and use that.

Since I saw the movie and I like cried in it yeah it's greatly done... although some parts you could've captured more and you used one clip twice I think and you only changed it a bit which made your score vulnerable. But very nicely done but you could've tried not to reveal the end in the beginning... Overall 8.2/10

It was pretty good. But ever since I saw VergetoX's "What it is to burn" I havn't liked a Grave of the fireflies AMV... not one.
