not to be mean but its a bit guly
the grainy texture of the "effect" makes the stock look gritty, The effect is pretty simple, very used tut, composition isnt so bad, im not sure about the bevel on the text.
You should revise your ideas.

did you duplicate the layer and color burn?

nope I used the "Gaussian Blur and then faded it with Hard Light.
