Problems with DVD or PS2! Help!

Im not sure if this is the right forum to post, but i recently got the Family Guy DVD that i wanted for 7 weeks. I played the first out of 4 discs there was, and it skipped and had disc read errors. i put in the second disc and also it now these DVDS are BRAND new. I think its my PS2 though..im gong today to buy a Xbox DVd remote so i can see if it skepps on that too..

maybe its the disc or it could be the PS2. gee i sure hope mine works.

about the skipping my mom rented 8-mile dvd and at this one part it was skipping alot and this was from a rental store so who knows where it could have been and it was relly dirty on the back so I just used my cd cleaner and it worked

I REALLY don't want to be off-topic but where perchance did you find the season 1 set? I can't find it anywhere!

Season one! it has seaoson one AND TWO! I got the DVD player for XBOX today and it played fine! I also bought a Laser Clean CD Lens Cleaner by BLAZE (the makers of the UK's (im not from the UK) #1 Best selling Xploder) it TOTALLY roolz!:D [B]Oh yeah! I got it at Best Buy..i forgot to put that! hahah! :D :unsure: :P
