In a heartbeat I would. PS3 will be at least $400, and I got my PS2 for 200. PS1's are like $50!

Sry about that..i just cant stand sony and there marketing and scamming people! They have a 60% monopoly over the console videogame market...Nintendo should of had it..but as long as Sony's other products dont seel and theres Microsoft, there will be the videogame hell console, the Playstations....Heck, even Microsoft cares about Nintendo! They respectin! Nintendo and microsoft care about their customers, Sony doesnt!

PS2 - good controller, good games. the only reason they had a hold on most video game companies was due to the lack of performance in needed areas durring the fall of Sega Saturn and the slow moving N64, the Sony loyal companies just stuck with them and the system has done great, now we are starting to see a lot more game companies that were previously loyal to Sony start moving onto other systems, the monopoly is over, it's pretty much an open pool from here. there are many other factors for the Xbox's terrible performance and the GameCube thats runner up, it's not just having all the game companies on your side.

either:
A) Nintendo buys Sega or merges with them
B)Nintendo buys some of Sega's dev teams (they broke away from sega)
C) Nintendo launches a big huge attack on the unsuspecting Sony an Microsoft..call t a videogame "Shock and Awe" if u will, surprise them, get them out and take charge! :D

If I could have another to add with my gamcube it would be ps2 cuz all of the cool looking games like conflict desert storms and dbz boudokai,I wanted that at first but then I wanted gamecube because it was cheaper,I might ask for a ps2 for my b-day(august 13)

Lets see ... i have gamecube, xbox, 3 psx's, gamegear, gba, sega genesis, sega master system (best console ever :)), intellivision ;), a few atari's, gameboy, n64, snes, nes and dreamcast O.õ lots of them are from people that jsut leave them here :D

I believe he was talking SALES performance, which truthfully is much less than the PS2's performance. Of course a year's extra time and 2 years more hype will do that for you. That's one thing Sony did right, hype up the PS2.
