I say premiere but I have used all of these programs and some have pretty good transitions tools :)

Adobe has soo many transitions and effects I dont use most of them I only use basic ones most of the time like cross dissolve ditther dissolve adobe can do anything every other one can do

actually adobe has effects it can not do like a good water ripple or cool nifty color transitions adobe also has a bad wording when you put text in actual video stream but adobe is still the best.

Man since I never use Adobe Premire because I don't have any footage and whenever I download episodes they suck in quality I have to say Movie Maker because I like that they make automatic clips and it's real easy to make videos.

It is also verrry picky on importing it has to be a certain kind of windows media player file called a video clip

Imovie 3 is nice but i don't really care for mac's adobe premiere 6.5 is the best

A program is but only a TOOL (one of *many* tools) used in the creation of a piece of art.
It's up to the artist to decide how to USE the program in conjunction with the rest of his or her palette to create the final art.
